With the arrival of fall’s invigorating breezes, now is an ideal moment to revitalize your classroom door with celebratory charm. Let’s explore some inventive and delightful concepts to infuse the essence of autumn right into your students’ welcome space.
Squirrels In Fall
Put together playful squirrels gathering nuts around the door. It was a hit when I added little details like nuts, that the students could move.
Nature’s Colors
Use the colors of nature to make a door that shows off the season. Once, I used things like branches and dry leaves to make it seem real.
Nut Fun
Put nuts around the door to give it a playful touch. I used both painted and real nuts to make it seem more real.
Full Fall Moon
Show off the fall moon with the moon in the night. I used stars and a large moon to make a dreamy look.
Owl Teach You
Use smart owls perched on branches to show how important wisdom and learning are. My students put their own ‘wise words’ up to show what they know.
Scary Shapes
Make scary shapes with black paper cutouts. This makes the class a mysterious time.
Magic Maple
Show off the maple leaf with a door full of the leaves. I used red and gold to make the visual stunning.
The SunFlower Season
Use sunflowers that will make the entrance sunny and show off fall. I use different sizes to give the art a great effect.
A Harvest of Learning
Celebrate the harvest by showing off many books and harvest pictures. I put mini hay bales to make it seem even more real.
Pilgrim’s Path
Teach the students history with a pilgrim-themed door. I added mini pilgrim hats and ships to make it teaching moment.
Magic Forest
Bring the magic of a magic forest to your door. The students will like the fantasy part.
Happy Fall
A Happy Fall is a show of the season. I use a bunch of colors to make the art complete.
Apple Time
Ask the students into an apple world with paper and felt apples. I hanged them at different spots to make it inviting.
Greeting From The Pumpkins
Put together a pumpkin display with some cut-out pumpkins and pumpkins made from material. I find it so great to be able to add the student’s names to each pumpkin.
Hocus Pocus Magic
Add some magic with Hocus Pocus to capture the Halloween spirit. I like to put stars in the back to give it a special effect.
FootBall Fun
Show off the season with a football-themed door for the sports fans. I added a mini goalpost to make it fun.
Grateful Tree
Make a Grateful Tree where students can add leaves with what they are thankful for. This helps everyone to be thankful.
Candy Countdown
Design a Candy Countdown to show how close we are to Halloween, which is great for building the excitement. I just used a simple pocket design to change the days easily.
Scarecrow Watchers
Put friendly scarecrows to ‘watch’ your classroom door. I like to use old clothes and stuff it with straw to give a warm feel that everyone likes.
